Last week we all celebrated Book week, as best we could. 

The 2 online author visits by Nicky Johnstone and Kirsty Murray were enjoyed by everyone. The students dressed up in their Book Week costumes and showed off their favourite books, all online.

I would like to congratulate the teachers, parents, and students, for participating in the Book Week celebrations and having some fun along the way.

Whilst books are still being added to the school library collection, we are unable to share these resources at this stage. Therefore, we have joined the Story Box Library. It is a fabulous resource where you can listen to books being read by Australian authors and celebrities. There are also short films to watch. Here is the link :

I hope the students are keeping up with their regular reading routines. Not only to maintain and improve their literacy and writing skills, but also as a way of relaxing and escaping from the day to day happenings.
