Languages Day

Celebrations

In light of current restrictions, we have had to rethink how we can celebrate the languages studied at Nossal HS and the cultural diversity of our school community.  While we have had to once again postpone our usual on campus food experience of sushi and crêpes at this moment in time, we are still able to enjoy and share the knowledge of other cultural practices and traditions. It is with this in mind that we proudly announce:

  • cultural activities to take place in classes throughout the week
  • the launch of our Languages Competition for all Japanese and French students (details to be provided)
  • the opportunity for the wider school to participate in the Languages Diversity Competition.
  • cultural practices and activities demonstrated and created by our cultural liaison leaders past and present
  • a kahoot provided by our Language Assistant, Livnat Segev
  • activities created by our Japanese and French Liaison Leaders for language students of all year levels to enjoy!

As you can see, our Cultural Liaison student leaders have been both ambitious and inventive in considering how best to celebrate our unified diversity despite our physical distance from each other.

START THINKING about a cultural product relevant to the language that you study or your cultural background and how you can share this practice with the Nossal community!
