Hello from Barcaldine. 

I cannot believe Term 3 is nearly over!  Please advise us as soon as possible of end of term travel plans for your daughter if you have not to date.  A reminder that the term will finish at 3:15 pm on Thursday 16 September.  Please note, QG Athletics is being held on this day.

Nudgee College runs a bus service to Goondiwindi at the end of each term and are now offering this service to Clayfield College and other girls boarding schools.  The bus depart on Friday 17 September with the first stop being Toowoomba and finish in Goondiwindi. Tickets are $40 and can be purchased via the TryBooking link -  https://www.trybooking.com/BIQFH

The itinerary is as follows:

1:00 pm Depart Nudgee College

3:15 pm Arrive Toowoomba - Lowes Petroleum BP Toowoomba, 252 Anzac Avenue 

3:30 pm Depart Toowoomba

6:15 pm Arrive Goondiwindi - BP Service Station, Lot 11 Cunningham Highway

We received good news for interstate boarders this week.  On Sunday evening, the Queensland Government released the class exemption to allow boarding students to return home interstate for school holidays.

The requirements are different and more restrictive than last year.  This is due to the nature of the COVID situation interstate.  Queensland Health is also asking families to complete an online form to provide them with specific details.

We appreciate that the requirements of the exemption may make it challenging for some students to return home.  We are approved for quarantining in-house if you wish to go ahead with this exemption.
