Grade 2: Then and Now

As part of the Grade 2 history unit 'Then and Now', we were lucky enough to host Gabrielle Proctor, Freddy Nielsen's mother and a lecturer at Melbourne University, and Dominic Brash, Heiko Lueckenhausen's father and a high school history teacher, over Webex this past week. Gabrielle and Dominic shared how they first got interested in the study of history and where this interest has led them professionally! We learned about how historians are like detectives using clues gathered from oral histories, objects, and records to unravel the mysteries of the past.
