The Parent Club Committee were disappointed we couldn’t give you the opportunity to create a gift for Father’s day at school this term. We hope you and your family can find an idea from our list to celebrate Dads and  the special people in your life and have fun together on Sunday 5th September.

We’ve included some ideas from local businesses which offer delivery, take away or click and collect options during lockdown.

Happy Father’s Day!

21 Lockdown friendly Father’s Day ideas in 2021

  1. Do a Scavenger hunt for your Dad. Create and hide clues around your house/garden. Make them as cryptic or literal as you like. You might like to hide his favourite chocolate bars, photos of you etc.
  2. Do a jigsaw puzzle together, read a book or create your own lego masterpiece with Dad.
  3. An oldie but a goodie! Gift Dad with some handmade IOU’s or coupons made specially for your Dad. Make them specific to him and what he loves eg ‘IOU a foot massage’, making him his favourite treat, kicking the footy with him) or try a Chore Takeover with what he doesn’t love (eg ‘I will put the bin out for you’, ‘IOU a car wash’ etc!
  4. Kick the footy, shoot some hoops with Dad or go for a bike ride together.
  5. Draw a picture of your Dad, try handprint art or print some of your favourite photos of him at home or from Camera and Photo. You might like to write a special memory or words that best describe him to go with this!
  6. Games night. Choose some of Dad’s favourite games and set aside some time to play together. Or might even like to do a click and collect order and purchase a new game from Dizzy’s Toy Store.
