ABCN Goals 

Mentoring Program

On Wednesday, 1st September, a selected, small group of Year 9 students participated in the ABCN GOALS Mentoring Program online. At the beginning of the call, we were greeted by two ABCN members, Catherine and Maurice. We then had a small chat getting to know more about the mentors. One of the activities, we completed was the About Me worksheet. Then we broke out into Breakout Rooms with our volunteer mentors. The volunteer mentors were from both IAG and American Express (AMEX).

In these Breakout Rooms we talked about ourselves and learnt more about our separate mentors. We additionally discussed the About Me worksheet and talked about the future and if we already had any experiences with creating goals or if we had any goals. We are looking forward to creating short term and long term goals, focused on Year 12 and our careers.

We just want to say thank you to Catherine and Maurice . It was great to meet you and we are looking forward to seeing you again and doing more ABCN Goals related activities.
