Parents' Association

Thank you to all the parents and staff who attended our Term 3 Parents’ Association meeting on Monday. It was inspiring to hear the passion of teachers Anna Davila and Rita de Faria as they presented their proposals. Our students are so fortunate to have teachers of this calibre and dedication to lead them in their educational journey. Eric Maroni’s informative proposal on behalf of the Men of John XXIII showed that passion and commitment is not limited to the teachers at the College.

 

We are pleased to announce that all the proposals presented were successful in their funding submissions:

  • Robotics and Engineering $9,184.27
  • Men of John XXIII $5,350.00
  • Wellness project by 2021 SRC $6,712.00

We look forward to sharing updates about their success in future newsletter segments: watch this space!

 

Our Term 4 meeting will be held on Monday 1 November: this will also be our AGM. The Funding Proposal and Agenda submission deadline for this meeting is 5pm on Friday 22 October – and all successful proposals will be published in the Newsletter on Friday 29 October, along with a full Agenda for the meeting.

 

If you would like to be more involved with the Parents’ Association in 2022 consider nominating for a position on the Committee. These positions are voted on and filled at the AGM segment of our Term 4 meeting. Enquiries about the positions can sent to parentsassociation@johnxxiii.edu.au
