Clifton Hill Cricket Club Juniors
While there are lots of uncertainties with the current restrictions, the first round of the season is scheduled to start 8/9 October for the Junior boys and 13 October for the Junior girls. Our hope is that we are able to start some training sessions in September. The Blasters program is planned to start in November.
Above is our Call to action - Registration flyer for the upcoming 2021/22 season.

Fitzroy Baseball Juniors Program
Hello,
I am the coordinator of Fitzroy Baseball Club's Junior Program, located at Merri Park on St George's Road, Northcote.
This year we are developing a strong program to engage junior players (boys & girls aged 4-18) in community baseball. Baseball teaches key life skills and builds confidence and fair play for all in a safe environment.
Regards,
Ethan Epifanio

Collingwood Migrant Story
Popi Sidiropoulos was a Greek migrant who left her family in the old village and started up a new life in Collingwood. She was possibly the first Greek women's hairdresser in Melbourne, setting up a home salon, pictured here in 1957.
Her husband was Theo Sidiropoulos, a politician who served as Mayor of Collingwood and elected to the Victorian Legislative Assembly as the member for Richmond in 1977. He was the first person elected to the state parliament that spoke English as a second language.
Today they are once again together. Rest In Peace Κυρία Popi.
