Pyjama Day

Last Friday was Pyjama Day! We cosied up in our PJs and shared our favourite books.

We came to school in our pyjamas, dressing gowns, oodies and sleep masks to raise money to upgrade our library collection and with the help of Dymocks provide much needed literacy resources to a school in need.

We want to say a huge thank you to our generous school community. 

We raised $1177! Wow! 

Our library collection is looking a little sad at the moment, many of our books have gone missing and we cannot wait to fill the library with new books that we can borrow and use in our classrooms. Our hearts are filled knowing that a school in need will receive vital literacy resources thanks to the students, parents and teachers of Galilee.

SRC and Social Justice Term 3 Update

Our Coats for Kids Winter drive has been a huge success. We will be delivering over 100 coats to St. Kilda Mums next Thursday!!!! The SRC and Social Justice representatives want to extend a big thank you to the community for their generous donations. They are over the moon knowing that Galilee will help keep people warm this Winter. 

A special thank you to Maya Harthen and her Mum Barbara for bringing this incredible initiative to our attention.
