Hello Everyone,

School Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) Update

During Semester 1, our SWPBS team completed the online training course Universal Prevention A as the initial stage of our formalization process of becoming an accredited SWPBS school.

As part of the work, we audited our current school values matrix and revised it to form a new Expected Behaviours Matrix. This new matrix went to the Junior Student Council (JSC) and staff for feedback. The JSC gave feedback and excitedly gave a resounding thumbs up to the new matrix. Staff gave feedback and are looking forward to launching and using this in the near future. We are aiming to trial the new matrix in Term 4 and then re-launch formally in 2024.

This matrix embeds our school values under three expected behaviours. These behaviours are clearly stated, so that students know exactly what is expected.
