Week 5 Term 3

Dear Parents and Carers,

Feast day of Mary MacKillop Tues,  8th Aug  

Prayer Provident God, 

with grateful hearts, we remember the power of the goodness that Mary MacKillop is in our world.

 On this feast day may we be touched anew 

by her spirit of prophetic charity and 

generous participation in the mission.

 We ask this in the name of Christ, the Sacred Heart,

and of the Spirit of Mission.

 Amen. 

As a Catholic Learning community, we will celebrate the feast day of our first Australian Saint on Tuesday morning at Parish Mass at 9:15 am. Parents, you are invited to attend our celebration. 

Thank You - Year 6 Confirmation Reflection Day 

Thank you to Annette Gasbarro and the Year 6 teachers for such a wonderful reflection day for the Year 6 Confirmation students. Annette commented on how engaged and reflective the students were. Students will celebrate their Confirmation this Sunday at 3 pm at St. Fidelis Church. Parents, please see the RE page for details about the ceremony and photos for the day. 

St Fidelis' FOOTSTEPS Performance Evening -Thursday, August 17th -7:00pm

Tickets are now available for our performance. I will send further details about dress rehearsals and information for families about how the night will run later this week. Please look out for the notification via the Audiri App. 

100 Days of Learning 

Thank you to Leanne and Alex for making the 100 days of school so special for our Foundation students. It was so lovely to see the smiling faces of the students as they raced through the gate on Tuesday and Wednesday. They were very excited and said the parade was the best part of their day. 

Congratulations 

We congratulate the Australian Netball Team, the Diamonds, on their win. What an amazing effort, we could not be prouder of their efforts at the 2023 Netball World Cup. Well done Liz for her leadership of the Australian Netball team. We can not wait to congratulate Liz in person when she returns.

FINAL SCHOOL FEES DUE SEPTEMBER 7, 2023

Final 2023 School Fees accounts were emailed at the beginning of this term. 

The office is open from 8:30 to 4:00 pm each day if you would like to pay in person. 

Please use the Direct Debit bank details below. If any families need to discuss alternative arrangements for the payment of fees, please contact me directly.
