Victorian Bands’ League 2023 State Solo Competition

On the 29th of July I competed in the VBL state championship for drumming, I won state championships for solo junior drumming. I started playing the drums at age 2 through my older brother playing for one year in high school and I eventually took over. My passion for music is something that I've been born with. my influences are musicians from the Seychelles Islands which is where my family is from, the music from the Seychelles is influenced by African rhythms. I want to thank my family, best friends and teachers for encouraging me to peruse my passion.
