Winter Recitals

This term we will be focusing on our upcoming Winter Recitals and our Gala being held on Tuesday 5th September.

Monash Youth Music Festival

This Saturday our Boyle Strings, Brandenburg Quartet and Coghlan Quartet will be competing in the Monash Youth Music Festival.  This is the first time we have participated in this event - please remember our students in your prayers.  This event is open to the public. 

Ticket details:

• Adults (16 and over) $5
• Multi Pass Ticket $20
• Children under 16 FREE
• Competitors FREE

All ticketing enquiries should be directed to the Monash Youth Music Festival.

With so many recitals, competitions and events coming up, it would be very helpful if students could make it to all scheduled rehearsals. 

Finally, to assist our music staff in preparing our ensembles, please help your son to be at school in time for a 7.45am start (morning rehearsals only).  We need to have productive rehearsals!

Ensembles and Orchestras 

We have added some new ensembles to our timetable. 

Junior Strings: All Year 7 Classroom Music string students – Monday mornings 7:45am

Double Bass Workshop: Monday lunchtime

Junior Flute Ensemble: Thursday mornings 7:45am

Senior Flute Ensemble: Thursday lunchtime

Please arrive promptly to the rehearsals.  If you are not sure what ensemble you are in, please speak to your Instrumental Music Teacher.

Timetables

Term 3 timetables have been uploaded to MazCom.  As we continue in the new semester, the possibility of changes to timetabling is highly probable.  Please make sure your son checks MazCom on a regular basis so that they are following the most recent timetable.
