From the Archives

How times have changed. It’s 1974 and the Graphics Department has acquired a 50 year old ARAB platen printing press enabling Graphics Master, Mr Taylor with students John Van Eyk, Simon McCarthy and Frank Matzka to print the College newsletter cover. The press was also put to work printing invitations and tickets for all occasions. Another 50 years on and we are in a totally different world of printing however the convenience of computer innovations was a future dream at the time these students were gathered around the printer.
