School Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS)
We will continue to acknowledge and reward students for their positive behaviours and will no doubt flood your phones with Kurnai Positive Acknowledgements (KPAs). On that note, it has been fantastic to see students settle back into the Kurnai Learning Community and being acknowledged with KPAs for their positive behaviours in the classroom.

Year 9 Melbourne Discovery Camp
This week 60 students have travelled to the City for their Melbourne Discovery camp.
Monday:
Students departed from Morwell station bright and early and headed to the city. Once in the city they settled into their accommodation on South Yarra before heading out to explore the street art on Hoiser Lane before heading to ACMI to view the national museum of screen culture.
Tuesday
On Tuesday students headed to the Art Centre to complete a workshop where the students learnt how to create online music and the history of music. From there students explored Southbank before heading to the Docklands to explore the 3D art at ARTVO and Ice Skating at O’Briens Ice House.
Wednesday
After a few bruised ego’s from Tuesday’s night Ice Skating, students headed to the Melbourne Zoo for a self guided tour, before having an afternoon tea on the Melbourne River Cruise and settling in for the sunset at Eureka Skydeck.
