Welcome

Welcome to the second iNewsletter of the Kilbreda Past Pupils’ Network Committee. Thank you for the positive feedback we received following the distribution of Issue 1.

 

The past few months have seen us welcome Pam Mornane nee Burke to the Committee, plan and launch the Past Pupils of Distinction program, host three very successful reunions and produce Issue 2 of “Tower Talk”. Planning is now underway for the next stage of the Past Pupils’ of Distinction program. An article and nomination form is included in this Newsletter.

 

As stated in Issue 1, an important part of the role of the Past Pupils’ Network Committee is to assist you to connect/reconnect with former students from your time at Kilbreda and with the Kilbreda community. We are able to assist you with planning and organising reunions. The committee is able to provide contacts for your year group and advertise your event on the Kilbreda Past Pupils’ Facebook page and the College website. If you would like to include Kilbreda in your celebration you can commence your visit with drinks and nibbles, tour areas of the school and enjoy a trip up the Tower.

The Entertainment Book Fund Raiser

A Past Pupils’ fund raiser for Kilbreda is the sale of the Entertainment Book which we advertise on the Face book page. If you are planning to purchase the 2017/18 edition please consider supporting Kilbreda. Books will be available from early April. Thank you to those who have supported this fund raiser; we look forward to your continuing support.

The Committee

The Committee is hopeful that Issue 2 of Tower Talk will have a wider circulation than Issue 1 as we have been slowly updating our database. It would be appreciated if you could forward this Newsletter to others whose email addresses you know and encourage them to update their details at Kilbreda by contacting:
