People's Choice Award: Members' Wildlife Photography Competition

Congratulations to Hannah Slattery (Year 10), who is a finalist in the People's Choice Award: Members' Wildlife Photography Competition at Melbourne Zoo.

Hannah's photo titled 'Cairns Birdwing Butterfly', was taken in the Butterfly House at Melbourne Zoo, with lots of patience.

Hannah's large print is on display at Melbourne Zoo from November 4 to November 30, near the 'Japanese Garden' and the 'Red Pandas' exhibits.

The winner of the People's Choice Award, will receive 'Walk the Zoo', a personalised photography tutorial with National Geographic photographer, Doug Gimesy, valued at $500.

Each month, 20 photos are selected to appear in the monthly exhibition running throughout spring. The winner announced, as the most liked photo on Facebook.

To vote for Hannah's photo on Facebook, please visit Zoos Victoria, go to photos and select the ALBUM titled 'People's Choice Award: Members' Wildlife' and give her photo a like 👍 to win the People's Choice Award!

Voting closes Monday 3 December.
