TERM 4

VALE – Adam Sherwin 

It is with a great deal of sadness that I inform the whole school community about the passing of Adam Sherwin, one of our much loved teachers.

Adam joined Lilydale High School in 2006 and quickly became a valued part of the Humanities team. He went on to make an enormous contribution as part of the leadership team in his role as Head of Year 8.  

He was a gentle and caring man who always gave his time generously to his students to help them in any way he could. 

Adam’s senior students loved his passion for his subject and the discussions they shared in his Legal Studies classes. Adam was intelligent, quick witted, sometimes a little quirky but will always be fondly remembered as one of life’s true gentlemen. 

We are all devastated by Adam’s loss, our thoughts go out to his family at this very difficult time.
