LANGUAGES

POSTER COMPETITION

Final entries for the Languages Poster Competition will be accepted next week. All posters must be A4 in size and contain original artwork, using either hand drawn or computer generated illustrations. Images from other sources cannot be simply copied and pasted to create your design, as this is a breach of copyright. Be creative and remember to address the design requirements.

The slogan, “Languages Open Doors” must be featured prominently on the poster.

Prizes will be awarded for the best posters in each year level, with the overall winner’s artwork being used in publicity at Lilydale High School during 2015.

Thank you to all of the families who have indicated their interest in the student exchange program with our sister school, Lycée Darchicourt, in Hénin-Beaumont, northern France.  Families will be notified by mail of an information session to be held early next term, on a date to be confirmed.

LANGUAGE PERFECT

Year 7 and 8 French and Indonesian students who have not paid their Language Perfect Subscriptions by the end of term will have their access to the program removed. This will result in the students having to use alternative methods to learn the required vocabulary.
