Drama Performance

Congratulations to Seb Carr (2014 Year 12 student) who performed in front of a full house last week at the Arts Centre. 

Seb achieved full marks for his VCE Drama Solo Examination, auditioned and was accepted into this prestigious performance. We are extremely proud of Seb and wish him now the best of luck as he embarks on his performance career.

SUPPER ROOM 

Art Gallery Competition

Next term, we are running our annual Supper Room Art Gallery Competition.  Students are encouraged to submit an A3 (portrait orientation) artwork or photograph that can be displayed in our schools’ Supper Room. 

The competition runs from April 13 to April 27.

ALL SHOOK UP

Rehearsals began this Monday and we had most of the cast attend. Expectations were explained and students were reminded to return their participation indemnity forms with payment as soon as possible. 

Monday’s rehearsal was dedicated to giving the cast an insight into what the show is all about and it seems that everybody is really looking forward to getting stuck into ‘real’ rehearsals. For the first few weeks we will be concentrating on the scene we are performing for Grade 6 Night. 

We have created a class on Compass named ‘Instrumental Music – Production’. We will be marking roles through this and posting important information such as rehearsal schedules, costume requirements etc. Please check the ‘Resources’ tab on Compass from time to time for updated information.
