WORLDS GREATEST SHAVE

LHS FUNDRAISER EVENT

On Friday 13 March, Lilydale High School’s Student Representative Council (SRC) organised and hosted the World’s Greatest Shave Fundraiser.

Not at all deterred by the unlucky date, the day was an overwhelming success with the SRC providing everything from shaved heads, waxed legs, coloured hair, painted faces and barbeque; all to raise funds for the Leukemia Foundation.

Incredible thanks must go to the staff and students who were up on stage, literally putting their hair on the line for a valuable cause. Congratulations to:

Your 'Be brave and shave' attitude meant that Lilydale High School was able to donate over $2000 to the Leukemia Foundation. This will fund a blood cancer research project for a week.
