Parliamo Italiano Insieme!

Let's speak Italian together!

We invite parents to become involved in their child's language learning, or even learn some Italian themselves,  as we provide some new Italian language tips with each newsletter.

This week's Italian phrase is an idiomatic expression. This is a phrase that has a figurative meaning which is different from the literal.

"muto come un pesce," in Italian means "mute as a fish." The closest English equivalent would be "quiet as a mouse".

Buongiorno a tutti.
