From the Principal

The end of week 4
This morning we held our assembly to induct our new secondary student leaders into their positions. Once again, I was reminded of the wonderful young people we are so fortunate to have here as students. Each of the students this morning felt genuinely grateful and humbled to be acknowledged by their peers and the staff as leaders and to have been chosen to represent their peers.
The new leaders are very excited about the next year and have a lot of ideas about how to develop the school to build on the great work of previous leaders to create an even better place for future generations.
There are also students who applied for these positions and were unsuccessful; not because they are not capable and confident leaders, but because there were too many students for too few positions. These students accepted the decision with grace and dignity and I know they will continue to be an integral part of the Year 12 group.
Thank you to all the grandparents and family friends who were able to attend our Grandparent’s Day today. It was great to be able to share our school with you and to see and hear the joy the students experienced as they showed you around their school.
