Building a Strong Family
Healthy families don’t just happen. You have to actively work at creating a bond that will last.
The best way to build a strong family is through a pro-active approach. That means looking for ways to bring your family together.
Dinnertime is the best place to start. Instead of eating in front of the TV every night, make a rule that everybody has to come together at the table for dinner. And then use the time to talk about the day.
At least one night a week, why not have a family game night? Pull out the board games and make an evening of it. The only rule is everybody has to play.
Family projects are another great idea. Get the whole family involved in a plan to help someone less fortunate. Even your young kids can help out. It’s a great way to bring your family together with a common goal.
