WHEN VISITING THE COLLEGE

I remind all parents that the safety of all students remains of paramount importance. I would ask that when visiting the College parents/visitors report first to reception to sign in and receive the visitor’s badge.

Also as an on-going reminder parents are not permitted to drop off or pick their son in the College grounds unless they are incapable of walking.

HAVE YOU CHANGED YOUR ADDRESS OR CONTACT DETAILS

Parents are reminded that the College records must reflect the accurate details of your home address, private phone numbers, email address, workplace and work phone numbers. These details are crucial, particularly if urgent contact must be made with parents. If you have changed your details or wish to check the accuracy of the College records in this regard, please phone, email, or call in to reception at the College

CORRECT PROTOCOLS FOR STUDENTS WHO FEEL SICK AT SCHOOL

Please don’t encourage your child to text or call you from their mobile if they are feeling unwell. All students who feel sick must report to sick bay where our First Aid Officer will assess the situation and then, if deemed necessary, she will contact you. We keep a record of all students who access sick bay assistance as part of duty of care, so it’s vital students do not bypass sickbay by contacting you directly.

SCHOOL FEES

All school fees are expected to be paid by a due date, if you are experiencing difficulties with the payment of fees on the due date and you are urged to contact myself on 9582 5999. Be assured, discussion on these matters are treated in the strictest confidence.

COLLEGE DEVELOPMENT FUND DONATION

St Bede’s College has financed a number of new buildings and facilities through the ongoing financial support of parents donating to the College Building Fund. All donations are tax deductible and a tax receipt will be issued. As the end of the 2013/2014 financial year is approaching, you may wish to finalise the annual donation in time to include with your receipt with your 2013/2014 tax return.
