Stem Challenges

Primary students have all had a great start to their STEM lessons this year working on two challenges so far. 

Students did well to “rescue” items that had fallen down a drain using only the materials provided. Teams worked well together to create hooks, magnetic sticks and all manner of devices to help them recover their belongings from the drain. 

Year 8 Art

Year 8 have completed their first piece of art for the year exploring neurographic drawing. It is a meditative drawing process that combines psychology and art. The technique is said to link your conscious and subconscious mind and create new neural pathways. The drawings end up actually looking like neurons. These were created using markers and pencils.
