Principal Report

A really big welcome back to school for our students, parents and school community. As I have visited classrooms it has been great to see how happy, settled and focused on their learning our students are. It has been a great start to the school year.

A big well done and thank you to all of our Grade 6 students who took part in the student leadership process. Whether students have a formal leadership role or not at Oatlands PS every student is a leader through their conduct, example to others and the values, attitudes and behaviours they live by.

Congratulations to our 2023 Grade 6 students with formal positions:

Parents are responsible for paying the cost of medical treatment for injured students, including the cost of ambulance transport. Accident insurance policies are available from commercial insurers for those families who are interested.

Students are not to bring valued personal belongings to school in case they are damaged or lost at school. Oatlands PS will not be held responsible for any damaged or lost items.
