Student Wellbeing

Mrs O'Brien

Here we are! Almost the end of 2022...

So many fantastic things have happened in the life of our school this year! We are so blessed with the community we have around us.

It has been such a pleasure to have worked here at St Joseph's for the past 12 years! To be a part of the families and the community has been an amazing privilege and something that I will carry with me where ever I go.

I would like to thank everyone within this community for the support you have shown me, as I have developed from a Graduate teacher in 2010, to a classroom and Japanese teacher and into my role as Wellbeing Leader for the last three years. Student well-being underpins everything we do here at St Joseph's and the development of our Positive Behaviours for Learning framework has been such an integral part of the work I have done over the last two years in particular. We are heading in all the right places and I look forward to hearing updates in the future on how this and other areas of our school continue to develop.

As we wrap up the end of the year, it is with a bitter-sweet taste that I farewell you and wish you all the best in the future. St Joseph's does and always will hold a place in my heart. I welcome Bec Beveridge to the position of Wellbeing Leader in 2023 and know that you will all continue to support her and the school within the space of Student well-being. She brings so much enthusiasm to the role and I am confident that she will drive the space on to bigger and brighter things with the support of Nick, Katie and the Leadership team and staff!

Thank you again!

Liz O'Brien
