RELIGIOUS EDUCATION 

This Friday at 10:00am, Sacred Heart students and staff will be celebrating our whole school End of Year Mass at St Mary’s. Fr Michael will be officiating and families are invited to join us if they are able to do so. We will also be reflecting on the year 2022, paying tribute to our Year 6 Graduates and giving thanks to our wonderful staff who are leaving us.

During this second week of Advent we are reminded of the power of light over darkness. We are also reminded of some of the many names Jesus is referred to; Messiah, Saviour, Lord, Only Begotten Son, Redeemer, Lamb of God, Bread of Life, Teacher, King of Kings, Son of Man, The Almighty One, Everlasting Father and Prince of Peace.                                      As we light the second candle of Advent, we continue our journey towards Christmas. The second candle of Advent is called the Peace candle; as we anticipate Christmas, let us remember the birth of the Prince of Peace.

Go gently and peacefully as we prepare and wait patiently for Christmas Day to arrive.
