P&C Meetings and Membership
Our first General Meeting of 2023 will be held on Thursday 16th Feb at 4:30pm in the staff room.
As a parent of a student at our school, you are not automatically a member of the P&C. To become a member you must first attend a general meeting and present your membership application form in person, which is approved at the end of that meeting.
This means that should an issue arise during the school year which you feel strongly about, and you are not yet a member, you will not be able to vote on the matter until you have attended a general meeting first… i.e., you will qualify to vote at your second meeting (the Annual General Meeting is the only meeting where a person may apply to become a member without being present).
To ensure you can have your say, please either join us at our next meeting, attend our AGM (or submit a membership application beforehand). Membership forms can be downloaded from the below link or are available from the uniform shop or by emailing pandc@palmbeachss.eq.edu.au.
Being part of the P&C is a great way to meet other parents and be involved in fundraising and supporting the school community. As a member of the P&C you have the opportunity to join the conversation on how funds raised are spent to enhance your child’s school experience.

The P&C Annual General Meeting is coming up and will be held on Thursday 16th March at 4:30 in the Staff Room.
All Executive Member positions are open for nomination (President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary) as well as the role of Fundraising Coordinator. If you are interested in being part of a fun team or would just like to know more, please get in touch with us here pandc@palmbeachss.eq.edu.au
Teachers Supplies
To show a little appreciation to our AMAZING teachers, the P&C were again fortunate enough to be able to offer them up to $100 each to spend for classroom supplies and learning aids. The teachers were extremely happy to receive their goodies to help them start the year off.
Get Ready to Get Slimed!
Get your slime on, Palm Beach State School P&C is hosting a Slime Spectacular School Fun Run fundraiser!
The Slime Spectacular School Fun Run will be held on Friday 10th March.
Not only are we hosting an awesome explosion event and raising funds for our wonderful school, we are going green! Students will have the choice to plant a tree or coral for every $20 raised online.
For every $20 raised online, a tree will be planted in the Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor or a coral seedling will be planting in the Great Barrier Reef.
Sponsorship Forms and further information will be sent home with students next week.
