  2. Identify a vision and set goals for their life and career that excites and motivates them
  3. Strengthen the social and emotional skills they need to be successful
  4. Identify the priority areas and make a plan to improve their performance and wellbeing in all areas of their life

Year 12 Careers

The Year 12 students welcomed guest speakers Amanda from Shepparton Greater City Council and Steve from NAB today as part of their Careers program. Amanda and Steve spoke with the students about their life journey so far and shared advice about important employability skills, resilience and finding their way in the world.

Thank you to Amanda and Steve for giving up their time today and to the Greater Shepparton Lighthouse Project for their assistance in organising the visit.

Industry Tour

We would like to thank JEFTOMSON Fruit packing for allowing McGuire students to visit their workplace and volunteering their time to show us their massive business operation that explained how the fruit went from the trees to the shops going through the packing shed and logistics and maintenance hub.

Special shoutout to Michael Parker for taking the day off work to support us with by showing and telling us about his job and the Greater Shepparton Lighthouse Project for organising the day.
