Friday Swimming

Kindergarten to Year 6 will be going to the Town Pool for Sport on the following four Fridays:  November 9th, 16th (Yr 5 will miss this week due to camp), 23rd and 30th.

The children will have swimming at the following times:

K - 9:30 Yr 4 - 10:00 Yr 3 - 10:30 Yr 1 - 11:00 Yr 2 - 11:30 Yr 6 - 12:00 Yr 5 - 12:30

ALL CHILDREN ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR A ‘RASHY’ OR T-SHIRT OVER THEIR SWIMMERS. Failure to have a shirt will result in a student sitting out in the shade.

The children will wear their sports uniform and school hat, they will need to bring a swimming bag with their swimmers, towel and sun protective swimwear. Please send goggles if your child requires them.  (Kinder & Year 4 can come to school in their swimmers ready to walk to the pool. PLEASE make sure underwear is packed!)

To assist in the easy transition from uniform to swimmers and back PLEASE make sure that ALL clothing, towels and goggles are clearly labelled.

Please make sure that you apply sunscreen to your child each Friday morning before they leave home and pack sunscreen in a snap lock bag with your child’s name on the tube so that they can apply another application prior to swimming.
