Classroom News - Year 5

Immaculata Visit

Monday afternoon all of Stage 3 went to the Chapel to celebrate a prayer experience with the Visiting Imacculata Community team. The Sisters and Brothers spoke to us about their personal encounters with God and explained  to the students about their community. The prayer experience a particular emphasis on Eucharistic Adoration, the Rosary and praise and worship music. Students had the opportunity to write their own letter to God and be present to the Blessed Sacrament.

Coffs Camp

Next week we are heading to camp! Hooray! Please have students arrive at 7:30am for an 8am departure time. A reminder that students MUST have a filled water bottle, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea on Wednesday and this should be in a small backpack that they take on the bus. We ask that students refrain from over packing! We have added the original note that contains all the details about what students need to bring and what not to bring. All the year 5 teachers are very excited about this upcoming event and a big thanks to Mr Bible, Mr Billings and Ms Bristow for volunteering to come along with us.

Year 6 Jersey Sizing Day

A reminder to students who wish to purchase a Year 6 jersey need to return their notes to school. Students will be having their size for jerseys taken in the near future.
