Other qualifiers for Polding are:

We would like to say a big thank you to Mr Andrew Frend who helped coach the relay teams and also thanks to some of the St Xavier's Teachers who gave up their free time to help coach other children.

Sydney Netball

What a fantastic day of netball at the NSW CPS Netball Championships in Penrith.

Three St Xavier's netball teams (and their parents), boarded a bus on Monday morning to head down to the big smoke for some great netball. After a pit stop at Tuggerah, they ventured onto Penrith, having dinner at the Penrith Leagues Club. They were all up bright and early on Tuesday morning to head to the netball courts for a full day of games. Each team played approximately 7 games with some awesome wins and a few losses along the way.

The senior team went through undefeated and were very happy to come home with a medal around their necks!

Thanks to Mrs Jensen for organising such a great excursion and to Mrs Trudy Paul, Mrs Chris Jones and Mrs Georgina Nichols for coaching the teams.

Year 5 and Kinder

Last week, Year 5 joined forces with the Kinder teachers to help teach the skills of egg rolls, plank rolls and angry cat rolls!

Horse Sports

Last week, Jazmine Hobden, competed at the St Lawrence Coonabarabran Horse Sports,  riding her pony Momento.

Jazmin placed third in her rider, second in her hack, third in her bareback and third in pair of riders.

She was also placed third in Showjumping and 2nd in the 10 years Dressage and placed in most of her sporting events.

She had a wonderful two days of competition and was well looked after by the St Mary’s College Equestrian Team who took her under their wing for the two days.
