St Xavier's Community Meeting

Real Talk Parent Session

This parent information session is open to parents of all grades and we really encourage you to come along.

Year 4 and Year 6 will have Real Talk Sessions on Tuesday 17 September.

Please watch the video to learn more about Real Talk.

Father's Day BBQ

Thank you to all the families who were able to come along to our Father's Day BBQ. The sun was shining and it wasn't too cold, the coffee was hot and the BBQ was fired up.

A huge thanks to the St Xavier's Staff who came along early in the morning to set-up and cook.

Thanks to those families who donated eggs, with a special mention to Jack and Jill's Cafe who donated a large amount of eggs and bacon for the day.

For any tea and coffee drinkers on the day, you may have noticed our leaking urns! We have decided to use the profits from the Father's Day Stall to purchase some sparkly new urns for our next event!

Nut Aware School

St Xavier's has a number of students who have severe and mild allergies to both peanuts and tree nuts. Please be very conscious of this when packing your child's lunch. The smallest traces can cause a severe anaphylactic reaction.

Please note that Nutella, peanut butter, other nut butters and nut bars etc are are not to be consumed at school.

Thank you for your understanding.

Medication

A reminder that students are not permitted to carry any medication in their bags. If your child requires medication, it must be held at the office. The medication needs to be in its' original packaging along with dispensing instructions. This is for the safety of all students.

 Uniform

With some hot weather predicted in the coming weeks, students are free to wear their summer or winter uniform for the remainder of the Term. Please note: students must be either in their full winter or their full summer uniform. They are not to wear a mixture of both.

All students must return to school at the start of Term 4 in their full summer uniform.

Uniform Policy reminders...

Hair: Should be neat and tidy at all times and if long it must be tied back using maroon, blue or white hair ties. The Schools Advisory Council  has determined that hair length should not be less than a number 4 comb unless there is a medical reason. ( Eg head lice)

Current cuts that show fading, mohawks and long fringes etc are very cool but please save them for the holidays.
