Catholic Identity

Vision Statements
At St Anne’s College we strive to:
- Develop a relationship with God that supports and nurtures our personal faith.
- Create relationships that are collaborative and in partnership with students, staff, parents, parish and the wider community.
- Empower individuals to grow in confidence and a willingness to explore their world: spiritually, academically, socially, emotionally and physically.
- Implement a curriculum that is contemporary, focuses on the needs of the individual and celebrates the joys of new learning.
Feast of the Sacred Heart
The Feast of the Sacred Heart will be celebrated with St Mel's Primary School on Friday 28th June 12noon at St. Mel's Church. We will be collecting items for St Vincent de Paul's Winter Appeal over the coming weeks to be presented at the Mass. Please leave donations of good quality non-perishable food, blankets and coats at the College Reception.
Feast of St Anthony
La festa di Sant Antonio is a traditional St Mel's celebration that is held at the time of his patronage day June 13. This year our parish will celebrate this day on Sunday June 16 commencing with Mass, a short procession and Rosary, distribution of St Anthony's bread and then a shared lunch and festivities at St Mel's Parish Hall. All are welcomed to attend and join this wonderful local tradition.
A colouring competition will be held for younger children with prizes awarded on the day. Please see attached document to download a copy. We will give our foundation students a copy to complete and we will enter it on their behalf.
