Dear Otis Orchards Families,

Another June is upon us which means the end to another year of learning and accomplishments for our students and staff.  Below are a few of those achievements worth sharing with our families before we close our classroom doors for the summer:

Washington State Recognized School-  for the 2017-2018 school year Otis Orchards was identified for closing gaps and demonstrating improvement among student groups identified for support. 2019 PACE School of Character- Otis Orchards' staff, students, parents and community were acknowledged by the PACE (Partners Advancing Character Education) Board for excellence and growth in the area of character development.

Jim Kuehnle Outstanding Educator Award is presented to our 3rd grade teacher, Mrs. O'Shea.

Teacher of the Month (presented by STCU & Avista) is awarded to our 3rd/4th grade combo teacher, Ms. Walker.

2019 Bloomsday Best Entertainer is awarded to our Marimba Band.

On behalf of the staff of Otis Orchards Elementary, I would like to thank you for all you do to support your child's academic and social development, both in and out of school.  Your support  remains invaluable to their success. We wish all our students, staff and families a safe and restful summer and look forward to seeing everyone back here in fall ready to embark on a new year of exciting learning opportunities and experiences!
