QLD - Raymont Residential 

Thank you to John Low from Raymont Residential College for delivering a presentation to our Yr 12 students who are interested in studying in Queensland. 

Raymont Residential College offers more than accommodation with access to a variety of facilities including an outdoor pool, recreation rooms, music rooms, chaplains, academic support and quality catering.

PCYC Pre-employment Course

The PCYC pre-employment skills course is a 4- day course designed to prepare our youth to be “job ready”. On day 3 and 4 students will get the chance to obtain a White Card and First Aid Certificate. This is an AWESOME opportunity!!

Please find program outline below and see Mrs Hardman to collect the application pack ASAP 🙂 Course commences 11th June 2019. You have to be quick as there are limited spaces.

PROGRAM CONTENT OUTLINE:

Day 1

Units to be completed

1. Getting around (driving and/or using public transport)

2. Going to an interview

3. Apply for a job

4. Finding a job

Resume completion and job applications.

Day 2

Units to be completed

5. Following rules at work

6. Looking your best at work

7. Working in a team

8. Communicating well

Day 3

First Aid Course, accredited course HLTAID003 - Provide First Aid, facilitated by authorised external agency.

Day 4

White Card (general construction induction card) accredited course facilitated by PCYC Institute. (Minimum 6 hours to complete).
