"Out of School" Learning

Drama Art Excursion
This year's DADA excursion saw a number of students travelling to Sydney for intensive cultural submersion. The activities included attending the Winyanboga Yurringa performance at the Belvoir St Theatre with a chat after the show with the cast; a workshop at Sydney Theatre Company; Cat on a Hot Tin Roof performance with Q&A afterwards; visits to Art Gallery of NSW and Sydney CBD bookshops, The Merchant of Venice, Sport for Jove performance; Museam of Contemporary Art Gallery visit and Australian Theatre for Young People Devising Workshop at the Seymour Centre.
The students were overwhelmed by the incredible diversity of talent and opportunity within the field of the Arts.
Thank you to the CAPA staff for an exciting and stimulating excursion!

The Year 8s went on the Great Aussie Bush Camp excursion and had an absolute blast!
Their days were filled with fun physical activities - kayaking, bush walking, rope challenge, mud obstacle course, evening games and theatre - and lots, lots more.
Autumn Lodge Cancer Fundraiser
Hugh Botha and other Creative and Performing Arts students enjoyed performing at the Autumn Lodge Cancer fundraiser and the entertainment was much appreciated by the residents, staff and visitors.
