Library News

We are enjoying being back in the physical library space.  We are keen for students to come in and to recommence borrowing our wonderful physical resources.  We would also like to remind students that it is the place to come and ask a librarian for assistance with researching or simply to relax and read.

In this post lockdown time, we are celebrating the opportunity to reconnect with our community.  In Week 6 students will be able to pick up a “Reboot!  Reconnect! Say ‘Goodbye my lockdown,’” Reading and Borrowing Challenge from the Library or English teachers.

When students complete and return their challenge card to the library they will go in the draw for a substantial prize.  Additionally, titles read for the ‘Reboot!  Reconnect! Challenge’ will also be eligible to be included in the Premier’s Reading Challenge event.

We look forward to seeing students in the McCarthy Library soon as they take up the “Reboot!  Reconnect! Say ‘Goodbye my Lockdown,’” Reading and Borrowing Challenge.

In keeping with this week being National Reconciliation week, In our learning space we are acknowledging and supporting the 2020 national Reconciliation theme - ‘In this Together'.  We are on the path with our community as we journey towards National Reconciliation.
