Religious Education

Students have been enjoying being back in the RE classroom with their teachers and peers. At the beginning of the term, while Year 9 were working from home, students began writing a grateful journal. At the end of each lesson, they took time to reflect and record three things that they were grateful for. When discussing their journals, students provided quite a variety of answers. From fresh air, family, pets, wifi, food, mums, even school had a mention!

Year 8 have begun making various artworks to enter into the Nagle Education Alliance of Australia (NEAA) art competition with this year's theme being ‘A Flame For The Future’. Students are working with different mediums to express their vision creatively, many students are making digital posters while others are working collaboratively to make a group mosaic and a collaborative painting. We can’t wait to see their finished work.

Year 11 Studies in Catholic Thought students have been researching the development of early Christian communities with reference to St Paul and his contributions. Students have now begun a new focus on the Trinity, considering how Jesus is both human and divine.
