School Council President Report

South Oakleigh College School Council met again person on Tuesday 16 June for the first time since COVID-19 restrictions. It was great to meet, and particularly to meet the student representatives Krish and Nguyen and to hear their thoughts about the learning-from-home period. It sounds like students are enjoying being back on campus and renewing friendships. 

One of the tasks completed by Council at this meeting was to use a self-assessment tool to evaluate our strengths and challenges. We have identified that whilst we have a solid understanding of our roles and responsibilities as a School Council, there are always opportunities to learn and develop our knowledge to support each other in ensuring 

The School Council is working efficiently and effectively. With the holidays approaching, it is an opportune time to reflect on the last few months which have been challenging for all our community and to take a break to prepare for Term 3.
