The CIS Team Visit which was scheduled for this term has been postponed to a future date due to the coronavirus. A lot of hard work was done in preparation for the visit and we were looking forward to demonstrating our progress since the previous visit five years ago. 

It is an ill wind that blows no good and one good thing to come out of our experience of distance learning is a re-evaluation of the role of IT and the various educational platforms available to us. The School Improvement Team is monitoring the effectiveness of these platforms and already teaching and learning at McKinnon is benefiting from our exposure to the technology. During the second phase of distance learning, expect confident use of such things as Google Meets. Through resilience and flexibility we will weather the current storm.
