As we started face to face classes in Term 2 on Tuesday 26 May 2020, students returned to school in their winter uniform.   If you have any uniform requirements our uniform supplier BuxWear Uniforms in Cheltenham Road Dandenong  https://www.buxwear.com.au/ are open Mondays to Fridays, 9.00 am to 5.00 pm and Saturdays from 9.30 am to 2.00 pm.

TIMETABLE CHANGES

Please note Friday 5 June and Friday 19 June 2020 were previously in the SiMON calendar as Student Free Days.  These Student Free Days have been cancelled due to the amount of time students and staff have been working remotely with online learning.  Friday 5 June and Friday 19 June 2020 are now normal school days.

HEALTH & SAFETY

In these unique times we are taking a number of measures to ensure we are doing all we can to protect the health of our community.  These have been documented in detail in a letter to parents, please see the College website for further information.  The most important point is to remind people and stress the point to please stay home if you are not feeling well in any way.

TEAM EFFORT

This term has been an amazing team effort from students, parents and teachers.  We thank everyone for the flexibility and resilience that they have shown with the online learning.  An incredible effort by all.

TRANSITION

As students transition back to face to face learning, it may be a time of increased anxiety for some students.  Please contact your child’s Pastoral Teacher should there be any concerns if there are things we could do to assist their transition, or if there are things that you could make us aware of that would be beneficial for your child’s wellbeing or learning. Likewise, if there are any issues with your child’s learning, please feel most welcome to contact the relevant Subject Teacher.

ASSEMBLIES

We have hosted a Year 11 Assembly, a Year 12 Assembly and an Assembly for the Year 10 students studying a VCE subject.  All of these were via Zoom and were to help assist the students in their preparation for returning to face to face learning here at the College.  We will be having Assemblies for the other Year levels in the next two weeks to assist preparing them for their return.
