Final Message of Thanks and Best Wishes

Dear Newport Lakes Primary School Community,

As I write down my final words as the proud principal of Newport Lakes Primary School, I’m filled with immense gratitude and warmth for the incredible send-off you gave me upon my retirement. The outpouring of appreciation, thoughtful messages, and generous gifts have left me deeply touched and profoundly grateful.

Reflecting on the wonderful journey we've shared over the years, I am overwhelmed by the sense of community, camaraderie, and dedication that define our school. Your kind words and gestures have not only made my retirement a memorable and joyous occasion but have also reinforced the bonds we've built together.

The beautiful messages from the many families (made into a wonderful book I will keep forevermore) heartfelt cards, and creative expressions of appreciation have found a special place in my life.  Each word is a testament to the strong relationships we've cultivated, and I am truly humbled by the impact our school has had on the lives of our students, parents, and staff.

The thoughtful gifts and gift cards I received reflect your understanding of my passions and interests, were very generous and I thank you!

As I step into this new chapter of my life, I carry with me the countless moments of joy, growth, and shared achievements that define our remarkable school. Your support, encouragement, and dedication to the success of our students have been the driving force behind our accomplishments.

While I bid farewell to my role as principal, I remain connected to Newport Lakes family in spirit. The friendships forged, lessons learned, and the collective achievements we've celebrated will always be special place and memorable.

Thank you once again for the incredible farewell you gave me. It has been an honour and privilege to serve as your principal, and I look forward to witnessing the continued success and growth of our beloved school.
