MOTHER’S DAY EVENTS

Our annual Mother’s Day fundraisers were a big success last week, with the gift stall and breakfast providing great opportunities to spoil the very deserving mums of St Augustine’s! 

Particular thanks go to Vanessa and Bec who did a fantastic job organising the breakfast on Friday. They were supported by a number of ‘dad’ helpers, who set their alarms early (on a very cold morning!) to set up the hall and serve. N.

The Mother’s Day Stall, held last Tuesday, was another success! Thanks to the parents who donated and wrapped gifts, and who worked on the stall. It’s a big thrill for the students to pick out presents for their mums and grandmas. We hope all our mothers enjoyed opening their gifts on Sunday – and had a relaxing Mother’s Day with their families.

We look forward to confirming the final amount raised soon.

COMMITTEE UPDATES

The next Parent Social and Fundraising Committee meeting will be held on Wednesday 14 June, at 6.30pm in the staff room.

We can confirm the final amount raised through the Easter egg raffle was $1620

Thanks to everyone for your ongoing support. It’s already been a successful year, and we’re looking forward to reporting back about how we’ll use raised funds to benefit our school and our students.

Washed donations are gratefully accepted. Please leave them in the hamper at the office.

Not all uniform items or sizes will be available but please continue to check as new items get donated and placed on the shelves. 

All items are pre-worn and are $5. 

Cash or Card accepted. 

The shop is run by parent volunteers so all offers for help will be welcome.
