School Wide Positive Behaviour

The ‘ICT’ section of our Matrix is focused on the behaviours that we would like our students to be using when working on our school iPad and Macbooks, in conjunction with the ‘All Settings.’ 

It would be wonderful if families could revisit this with their child/children at home while we are talking about it at school.

All families have access to a School Wide Positive Behaviour Family Handbook via the school website. It explains many of the components and expectations that we have in place at Echuca Twin Rivers.

Bronze Award

Paul Hon and Kerri Hammond presented our school with our Bronze Award for 

 part of our SWPBS journey.

The Bronze award is presented to schools who have established the foundation of School Wide Positive Behaviour Supports.

We spent 2022 working towards obtaining our Bronze Award, after receiving our Blue Award in 2020 and 2021.

This can only be achieved through a lot of discussion with students, families, and staff around some many different components- positive acknowledgements, the High 5, break cards, lesson plans, just to name a few.

It has been wonderful to hear the students discuss our values and what they mean to them as part of our morning Circle Time.

We have accomplished a lot since we began this journey several years ago.
