Digital Technologies @ Scoresby Primary School

Digital technologies is an ever-growing aspect of our daily lives and, as a result, here at Scoresby Primary School we are working very hard to ensure our students stay updated in this ever-changing area.  Some of the things that we have introduced to encourage our students in this growth area are:

• Introduction of Purple Mash, designed to deliver a whole-school digital curriculum program
• Participation in the Victorian Coding Challenge
• ICAS Digital Technology assessment
• Coding and Robotics program – BeeBots, Spheros, Edison and Lego Mindstorms
• ERL (Eastern Regional Libraries) lunchtime activities – Music Maker and Mario Maker
• Cyber Safety Day celebration
• ThinkUKnow presentation to our senior children and parents. Both presentations were full of information about online safety.
