NMR Tennis 

On Wednesday 3rd May, our Year 7 Boys Tennis team competed at the NMR competition held at Oak Park Tennis Club. Despite the challenging conditions, the boys were able to brush past University High and Lalor Secondary on their way to the final against St. Helena. The sun finally came out as the boys began the final and came away winners in all 6 sets (4 singles and 2 doubles) to advance to the State Championships in November this year. 

Big congratulations to Kailan Griffin, Archie Howitt, Aarya Khore, Jackson Papageorgiou and James Thompson.  

Division Athletics 

The 2023 Division Athletics was held at Meadowglen Athletics Track on Thursday 4th May. Over 50 students from Greensborough represented the College in a variety of events throughout the day. We had success in both the field and on the track with 17 athletes advancing to the NMR Athletics being held later in Term 3.  

Huge congratulations to all students for the way they represented the College with pride. Well done! 

SSV State Swimming Competition 

Amity and Ashley Lansbury competed at the SSV State Swimming Competition on Friday the 28/04 at MSAC. 

Amity and Ashley both came 1st in their 50m Breaststroke events and are now State Champions in those events.

Amity also came 3rd in 100m Breaststroke and 4th in the 200m Individual Medley.

Ashley also came 4th in 50m Backstroke and 4th in the 200m Individual Medley.  

They both represented themselves and the College with pride and should be very proud.
