STEM Update

This week with our Grade 5/6 students we were looking at sensor tech and the world of I.o.T (internet of things), it's pretty interesting (and complex stuff), but what is even more fun is then showing these gadgets to the Prep students to see what they make of it all, which is exactly what we did this week.

After having a look at all the sensors and how they work, the Preps came up with their own I.oT setups which you can see below.

These range from sensors that detect light outside to wake you up on time, a weight sensor to feed your puppy when the bowl is empty, and of course, a motion detector to know when Cleo is coming near your room and automatically lock the door (that one might be a little specific to Daisy I think...)
